Adults

For me, one of the most beautiful and interesting parts of being a therapist is recognizing that no two people pursue therapy for the same reason.

Vestiges of my work with children, families and teens show up in my work with adults, as everyone grown has their own story of having grown.

However, that being said, who you are to yourself, and who you are (and have been) to others, has fundamental lack- or gaps in meaning and belonging- no matter how unique your story.

Exploring the uniquely personal beside the universally human, the strengths and suffering of subjectivity, is the foundation of my work.

Through a blend of psychodynamic, trauma-informed, and person-centered humanistic approaches, we honour and explore your identity.

Our aim is to build a relationship with who you are to yourself: and discover the ways it comes up against who you are to others and the world around you.

Together we identify your inner-knowing and your patterns of contradiction, and develop a sense of self you wish to claim.

This process can creatively explore themes related but not limited to:

  • Stuck Patterns & Habits

  • Stress

  • Aimlessness

  • Existential Grief & Anxiety

  • Climate Anxiety

  • Disappointment

  • Resentment

  • Boundaries & People Pleasing

  • Sexual & Gender Identity

  • Attachment & Resulting Relational Patterns

  • Trauma & Resulting Relational Patterns

  • Relationships (family, friendships, intimacy)

  • Avoidance

  • Loss (of self and of others)

  • Low Mood

  • Lack of meaning

I believe therapy takes devotion and deep caring for our humanity. I hope to hear from you to see if my approach can suit what it is you are looking for.
